Hank I can only hope they come to Australia one day, I'd love to see them live.

I have never heard of this band, and now I cannot even listen to them, so I've no idea what the fuss is all about! However, they look as if they could all do with a good bath - and some tattoo removal treatments!!!!

No offence - just my opinion. Maybe they DO sound great!

A week from today, I will be seeing CAD, live at HOTSC!!!! (Ambrose, what word from you??) I may even stop in at the Project Noah benefit, in Bowling Green, to see them again on Sunday afternoon.

(Whew three shows at the Festival, the Ceilidh and Project Noah. CAD overdose? Nahhhh!! )

Graham, the picture you posted is now somewhat dated. There have been some transitions in the band, as both Davie and Tu have moved on. But they seem to have a couple of able replacements.

If the Radio link does not work for you, keep trying. There was a ton of traffic last night and I was getting dumped, periodically. But all is well this AM. Dial-ups connections are probably going to limp a bit.

    Peace,
    Mike

Hi Gary! Oh, and welcome to the forum, BTW. (sheesh, look at me, acting like a veteran, already. )

They have five CD's available -

    Tried & True
    Keep It Tribal
    Tribal Waves
    Tribal Eyes
    Tribal Vortex

And there is now some reasonable expaectations that a DVD is soon to be available.

There is a very active forum at their Web site, if you are interested. And do not believe ANY of the rumors dealing with HeCAD's and SheCAD's consuming excessive quantities of alcohol...

    ::KEEP IT TRIBAL::

    Peace,
    Mike

Graham, if you have not already done so, register at their forum and visit the Photos section. There are a ton of photos there.

And if you see a Mike posting on that board, I have no idea of who the fellow is... 8)

(Are you getting the sense that I really like CAD?? )

    Peace,
    Mike

I checked out CADs radio link and I'm sold. I love the sound, very forceful and driving.

Colin You have excellent taste, that is one of their

CAD are great too. Tribal is a great way to describe
their music and their concerts. They are something to behold live. Their CDs are great but
do not catch the energy and spirit.

Hmmmm. It is a phpBB board, like this one, so the registration process is identical. The phpBB software automatically generates the registration verification e-mail, so you should be getting something. If you do not, let me know and I will PM you the Administrator's information.

    Off to "work"...

    Peace,
    Mike
