Can't recall the name of the pipe band, but they wear grey kilt hose with the RAF tartan kilt. Good look.

So one other point is that as an ex RAF REGIMENT gunner, the corps motto is per ardua. This is taken from the longer air force motto of per ardua ad astra.
The McIntyre clan motto is also per ardua and to that end I have been using a round clan crest as a kilt pin. I want to display an emblem associated with the regiment and available brooches seem too small. I am open to opinions and suggestions on that too.
