Hi: I am new to this forum as a member but have been reading the posts and replys for quite some time.
This one here is interesting because I too have been
the victim of pilling of many items of clothing. I
fully agree with Bubba - use an electric shaver battery or AC operated; best with a popup trimmer. Just extend the popup trimmer and gently drag it across the pills. Another thing you could do is use a multi bladed razor and do the same thing; just ever so carefully slide it across the pilling surface. I remember seeing a pilling razor in a catalog many years ago. Was just like an electric
shaver except the holes in the foil were much larger.
A note of caution just make sure that what you are
cutting is pilling and not a snag or loop of thread.
Cut these and the fabric will unravel before your eyes.
Thanks for the opportunity to offer some help!
Good golly there is an awful lot of stuff here and
some mighty fine members!
