The CArryall Sporran - user feedback.

I just wanted to post how pleased I am wtih my new Carryall Sporran.

I have waited a few months before posting this in order to allow me to put it through its paces.

For your information, I have a full mask sporran (useless for carrying anything), a hair sporran acquired from the military, a seal-skin dress sporran and a basic brown leather purse. The Carryall Sporran was an impulse buy since, despite wearing a sporran on a regular basis, I find myself having to squirrel things away in my coattee or vest due to a lack of space and the ad on XMarks seemed to be the solution.

Since acquiring the Carryall Sporran, it has become my "go-to" sporran. Everything fits in easily and it is not a chore to find things once inside. (The Red interior helps, too.) The sporran, belt, clips and fasteners are of such a high quality that I tend to wear the Carryall even when something more dressy would likely be more appropriate. The Carryall easily holds: keys, wallet, phone, pen, business cards, reading glasses and change purse, all of which I tend to use when out of the house for any length of time. This would have been an ideal first sporran since it has proven to be good value for money, can be worn in both formal and informal settings, and is darn practical. It is now the measure by which I compare alternatives.

As a member of a Reserve highland unit in a very Scottish area of Eastern Ontario and also a Freemason in a Scottish lodge, I tend to be kilted a couple of times a week for formal events, in addition to being kilted when out and about. Having practical clothing available as opposed to being "costumed" is therefore important. This sporran fits the bill.

In summary, I am very pleased with my purchase. I can't recommend this product highly enough. I'll likely be looking for a brown one next year.

Thank you very much for agreeing to post this.
Customer feedback is the single most important thing we manufacturers and retailers have to gauge how our products and service are received by the public.

I am very glad you are pleased with the Carry-All sporran. I worked long and hard to design something I felt was sorely lacking today. I wear the kilt everyday and no traditional looking sporran would carry all the stuff we guys need today. Those that did have some capacity lacked the traditional look.

Trying to produce a quality product and keep the price reasonable was a real chore. I'm so happy that you think I succeeded.

    Steve,

Are these currently available? I'm on a budget, so I may not be able to pop on it immediately, but I'm interested.

I will add my two cents worth as I have purchased one myself.

The OP is right, this is a great sporran. Like the OP, I tend to carry quite a few items daily as I wear my kilt daily. So not having pockets, this wonderful sporran carries my wallet, keys, two pens, business card holder, other people's business cards as I collect them, phone, small comb for the beard, and cloth glass cleaner for my other pair of eyes. It carries these comfortably without a huge bulge in front. It does not "bounce" when I walk and I ordered one without tassles so I don't sound like a heard of horses coming down the hall.

I have worn this at Highland games and have a few people ask me where I got the great sporran. I have given them the site and told them to buy one (is there like a finders fee associated with this?...).

I am glad I made the investment....while it is more than other sporrans I have purchased, the old adage comes into play here....you get what you pay for...and I got that and more.

    Thanks Steve.
