Some classics in there! I bet it was a grand afternoon. Though just seeing "Petronella" gives me the shivers, you see I wound up dancing in that at the Children's Ball (they were short one couple) and they always do double petronella figures ….and they always ask for a complete encore (not once and to the bottom! ) THAT'S A LOT OF PRETRONELLA!

    Cheers

It was a grand afternoon. We had a wonderful time. I've only been dancing for 7 months, so Petronella gives me the shivers too! I danced every dance. My partners and the other dancers were very helpful, using hand signals whenever I started to go the wrong way. The better I get, the more fun it is!

Looks like it was a great event. My wife and I took Scottish country dance lessons with Pete and Mary Campbell in Greensboro before our wedding and invited the whole class to perform at the reception (15 years ago next month).

What a wonderful idea! That must have been a great reception. I'll have to mention this to Mary and Pete at our next class.

    Ken,

I mentioned this to Mary at class last night. She remembers a few demos and then lots of Ceilidh dancing at the reception (I bet that was fun!) and that Leslie made your wife's wedding gown.
