    George Clooney in a kilt...

The wife & I were watching the tele this weekend and happened to see a movie (don't remember the name of it, though, more's the pity!) with George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones -- at one point, these two decide to get married at a Las Vegas wedding chapel that is Scottish themed -- and George wears a kilt -- Royal Stewart tartan, to be exact. There is even a piper that plays.

My wife commented that George wears a kilt quite nicely -- he did seem to be "proper", though his best man was wearing his bonnet indoors!

    Cheers,

    T.

    intolerable cruelty...

Rufus, I'm wi' you on this one -- the movie was pretty bad, save the kilt scene.

The good news is: I now have the second season of Monarch on DVD -- our local public library ordered it and the first season DVD for me. For some reason, the first season is still being processed by the tech services folks, but they were able to get the second season finished BEFORE the first -- go figure.

Oh, well, that means I'll just have to watch it twice!

    Cheers,

    T.

I wish I could have talked my library into buying the series! Wait, no I'm not! I love watching Series 1 and 2 way too much to just get them from the library. Definitely one of my better purchases this year.

I wonder why he didn't wear kilts in his other movies too... like:

    "O, Tartan Where Art Thou?"
    ~or~
    "The Perfect Pleat"
    ~or~
    "Tartans Eleven"

    HA! HA! good one Jimmy.

So I guess they would have to change the
    song from the movie to:

    KILTED Bottom Boys
I Am A Man Of Constant HAPPINESS

(chorus) In constant HAPPINESS all through his days

I am a man of constant HAPPINESS
I've seen FUN all my day.
I bid farewell to old SCOTLAND
The place where I was born and raised.

(chorus) The place where he was born and raised

For six long years I've been KILTED
SO MANY pleasures here on earth I found
For in this world I'm bound to ramble
I have MANY friends to help me now.

(chorus) He has MANY friends to help him now

    You get the idea.

So Jimmy is this a version Barleyjuice might try?

George Clooney was in that movie? There was a story? I though I went to see 2 hours of Catherine Zeta Jones looking hot. Wow.
