The Quaich arrives in Toronto
ASinclair sent the package along and it arrived today. I will be bringing it to the Kingston Highland Games this weekend and Tennent's Tartan Tuesday on June 3rd at the Caledonian. I have just spent some time reading the entries and looking at the photos in the log. I have to say it is wonderful to be a part of the forum. I remember well hosting the Saltire a few times in her journey and it is wonderful to be part of this tradition, even though there have been ups and downs in the 8 years I have been a member.
Photos and reports from this leg of the journey to come.

I was relieved to hear that Glen received the Quaich. I had visions of it getting stuck in customs. Looking forward to lots of pictures, and I know you are going to have a blast with this, Glen!

The quaich was well treated in Toronto. It was taken to Tartan Tuesday at the Caledonian where a great turnout of tartan-clad ladies and gentlemen shared a dram from the silvery cup. On Wednesday, the quaich was taken to Toronto's Robert Burns memorial statue and to the 48th Highlanders Regimental Museum. You can view photos of the festivities in this thread starting at post #29 at the bottom of page 3.
