I'm really enjoying the thread and had an absolutely fantastic day despite the constantly changing weather conditions! As for this spurious "title" that has been conferred upon me, I think twice is quite enough.

The day was great and Kingston is steeped in history. Glen has done an amazing job of chronicling our adventures with the quaich both photographically and in writing!

I should add how much fun it was to read the log that outlines previous adventures. The quest of the quaich is a fabulous project and I hope lots of other Xmarks members queue up to take the quaich and have as much fun with it as we have.

Fear not Nathan it will stay here, I would say blame my lack of sleep for it.

It really was a great time road tripping with McMurdo and it was nice to see Crash and Farmer Jones.

Wow! That is just brilliant. Seriously, since y'all listed the "Tartan Tuesday" Invitation(?), I've been trying to figure out how to insinuate myself. But this takes the cake.
    Wonderful and dap'd-up.

Great photos of the Quaich's visit to Kingston Glen!

Just one point the "red Police box" is the ordinary public telephone box designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Police boxes were blue and looked like Dr Who's Tardis.

Well, what a day that was! I'm tired just having looked at the photos. (not to worry Nathan, I may give you a run for the grand and exalted title of Laird of the sun-screen - curse our pastey highland genes!)

I'm not surprised that there was a photo of a police officer included in this epic quest; I am only surprised that neither Nathan nor Glen ended up in the stockade for the night.

    Slainte!

Thank you very much, and yes, I'm trying to sort it.

Well done Glen and to all those who participated in the day. Great to see the quaich in the middle of so many adventures in in such a short time.
