Portly fellow (ok---fat) guy in a kilt!

my first kilt---a utility kilt. wore it to the 4th of july party last year to spite the country club. they have a 'no denim' rule. I live in jeans, so I wore the kilt! second run at my parents party. seemed to have struck a bit of a pose *shrug*

then my wife and I went on a cruise to the Carribean with a little known band called Albannach in January, and I got to wear the one I bought in Moffat, Scotland a couple years ago. was awesome! (and yes, I am actually smiling)

buying a couple casual kilts from Atlanta Kilts-->Johnston and US Navy tartans. can't wait!

Is "little known" and attempt at sarcasm? I love Albannach! I see them (at least) once a year.

yah--sarcasm indeed. I figured that they would have a decent following on these boards. Seen them many many times, and the wife and I went on a Carribean cruise with them this past January (East of Hebrides entertainment-->eohebrides.com) and a good time was had by all. going again next January too, with more kilts!
