Mrs. Liam and I just returned from 17 day trip to England, Wales and Scotland. Here are a few pics of our trip:

Yes indeed it would whet your appetite. You have so much more of Scotland still to see, haste ye back. You would have been only a few miles from me here in Hawick when you crossed the Scottish Border via the A68 at Carter Bar.

A great travelogue of pictures. Thanks for posting them. Looks like you hit a good number of the great places in the UK (except for Hawick, of course). Did you just happen to bump into that piper near Glencoe? Was he playing a lament to the MacDonalds?

Alex... we spent about 4 hours in the Riverside Museum of Transport - what a great place.

Yes indeed the new Riverside Museum is well worth a visit. I'll be back there on 22nd of this month stewarding a static display of vintage vehicles on the museum forecourt for part of the day and then driving a vintage bus on a tour of Glasgow's west end.

I recognized the park, near Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh and I saw the view from Urquhart from the other direction, as I was on the Loch. Too bad you didn't get a shot of Nessie behind you. My wife and I actually saw Nessie's back looping up from the water while taking the Nessie cruise. Everyone else was busy watching my kids chase a frog in the bottom of the boat so they missed it. Thanks for the pics.
