Tennent's Tartan Tuesday with the Quaich was a complete success. We had 17 people out for it. It was great to put faces to user names and it was a wonderful evening. Here are a few photos

The group shot

We filled it as best we could I think this was 7 shots at any rate it was enjoyed by everyone.

Colin wearing his ABF tie rather smartly

Inside the pub group shot, everyone having a good blether.

Yet another shot of Nathan drinking from the Quaich

The continuing adventure of the Quaich in Toronto
Today Nathan and I took the quaich on a wee tour of a few placed in Toronto first we went to the Burns memorial at Allen Gardens

Then we were off to the 48th Highlanders Museum

Along the way we ran into Toronto`s finest on horseback and asked them for a photo which they were glad to pose for.

The plaque on the wall as you enter the museum

Ron, Nathan and myself with the Quaich.

Ron the Quaich and me in front of the Vimy Cross
We then walked up to Kensington Market to look for some kilts and or accessories. We did find 3 sporrans a few kilt pins and several kilts in various states of disrepair most of the kilts had moth damage, we even found an American Bicentennial tartan kilt, given the recent thread we both thought that finding that was a bit funny.
That is about it for the Quaich's adventure in Toronto, it was an honour and a pleasure to be part of the journey of the Quaich and I look forward to her continued adventures.
It was yet another good day with the wee quaich which will shortly be winging it's way to Ottawa for Canada Day.
