I've been to the Kansas City Games a couple of times. It's a fun day out, but usually dreadfully hot. The Highland Games in McPherson, Kansas is a good one too. You should try to attend the annual St. Louis Scottish Games in late September. The weather is usually much more comfortable for tweed and tartan, and it's a great day (and evening) out! Cheers,
