Sad news if Ardalanish are no longer operating - let's hope there is a temporary or seasonal reason for their silence. I too am waiting for a response to a query I emailed them a couple of months ago.
I bought two pieces of material from them just over a year ago. They have both been tailored into articles of clothing, and the weather is just about cool enough to wear them for the camera.
Skye Weavers' tweed offerings appear to include fewer weaving styles in a narrower range of colours than those of Ardalanish, but they are very handsome for all that.
