    Xmarks is everywhere!

I attended our local country show today, a big affair with 1000's of people attending.

I saw "the mark" placed on several of the trade halls, here is one of them.

    Hank, when were you here?

Looking sharp, Graham. You've probably mentioned this somewhere before, but where is your sporran from?

Thanks, the sporran was locally made by a retired gentleman who is also in our local Pipe Band.

    You're looking very nice Graham.
Give us newbies a bit of information on that kilt, that's a very nice looking tartan.
You certainly dispell any notion of kilts looking like skirts.

OK, well if it wasn't you all I assume is that the signwriter was illiterate.

But do you see the effect you're having on us here - I see an X and get a warm fuzzy feeling!

It was fun being at this show, I've been going there for years, but this was the first time kilted, it made it very special.

I got a lot of the usual looks, one man asked if I was Scottish, I said no, neither is my wife American 'cos she's wearing jeans.

Another man with a broad Scottish accent said "how are ye" and seemed very pleased to see me kilted.

A kilt plus any outing equals fun-fun-fun!

and you are always welcome at the "Grand hotel"!!

    thanks braunidude, and JerMc.

The kilt is Stewart Hunting, it's a USA Kilt in poly/vis, and I love it to bits, the colours are vibrant, the tartan excites me just to look at it and the fit is comfort with a capital K!!
