    Kilts on "Weir's Way"

The Scots here will surely remember Tom Weir from his television programs, at least if they are my age or older. This episode features a kilted gent called Findlay MacRae, and the beautiful Glen Affric.

There are other kilted folk scattered throughout his programmes, so if you like that one, try some of the others linked from it.

I was always fond of Weir and his programmes, I think subconsciously they were part of what led me to explore Scotland's highlands.

Here's a wee tribute to him. I'm sure he would have appreciated it.

A fitting tribute to good man still missed and fondly thought of by many, including me.

Brilliant, thank you for sharing this. I was not aware of this programme, and as I'm going to be on bed-rest after surgery, I'll have plenty of time to acquaint myself ... looking forward to that!

    Thank you

Thank you for introducing me to Weir's Way. I have watched several episodes now and intend to work my way through them all. I love the way that people are formed by the places they live and this series explores that along with a good lesson in Scottish history and natural science.
