I ay be wrong but I believe that the Campbells consider the Ancient variant of Black Watch to be their clan tartan, not the Modern colours that we are used to seeing.

This is the only instance in all of tartandom that I can think of where the "colour-variation-does-not-make-it-a-different-tartan" convention is exempt.

    I might be mistaken, though.

Yes, Charles MacDonald is humourously rigid, arrogant, and not a little bit of a jerk. He does, as Kyle stated, come around, though not without some serious effort. He should have been a recurring character...

It's "should have", Charles, not "should of"! A man of your schooling ought to know better, old boy!

He is currently doing a fine job as the doctor on Downton Abbey.

Hahaha! It's been a long day. Thanks for catching that idiotic mistake, Nathan. I have edited my post to relfect the change. David Robb is a fine actor, and yes, he does an excellent job as Dr. Clarkson on Downton Abbey.

As do I, but some people would do better to use it! (no names, no pack drills!)

I'm sometimes ashamed of the bad spelling and bad grammar that can be seen on a forum that I am a member of! I even had one person tell me that he had no time for that sort of thing and the he would do it properly "when it mattered". Of course I replied that it always matters.
