12" high boots. Not sure if 12 inch boots will be a bit much.
Hey guys : )
I had been trying to order a 10 inch boot but Red Wings boot but they had discontinued the 803s that I wanted.
So I ordered the 12 inch : ) 881s

Not sure if I will look silly with these. Not that I don't look silly already.
I am a new Kilt owner. What can I say ? : )
My Kilt Landed in Houston yesterday and it was a joy wearing it. I did pull out my old scooter boots.
They are much higher than 12 inch but I was determined to wear the new Kilt doing my yard work.
I have to say, I felt right at home in the Kilt. I thought I would be shy but to my surprise I wasn't.
Thank you
If only my old Grandfather from Scotland could have seen me : )

You probably won't look silly. When doing work around the house I wear whatever suits the job. Cowboy boots sandals or converse all stars. Haha I'm glad you posted though. Cool looking boots. I may have to get some.

No worries, nothing wrong with those boots. They look about the same height as my Corcoran jump boots, which I think are bomber with a kilt. I've got a pair of 20 eye boots that I wear sometimes as well. Wear it like you own it.

Hello Bob, thank you for the reply. I Started out looking for jump boots and didn't see what I liked. I should had included "Corcoran" in my google search. I'm learning bits and pieces dad by day. I'm just a late blooming Scotsman I guess.

Fear not young newbie, many members wear New Rock boots with a kilt and Celtic Croft offers these http://www.kilts-n-stuff.com/highlan...her-boots.html. They are a great boot that even adds a little "panache" to an old guy like me.

They look fine to me. I have a pair of 16" Wesco Highliners I wear with kilts on occasion. No need to worry about flashes with them.

Hey Scott, those are good looking boots. I might be interested in getting a pair but I don't see any price?
