Staying down the road in Oceanside; I'm in Starbucks now using their free WiFi 
Our Pipe Major and I arrived yesterday afternoon to get 'dibs' on a good place for our band tents, set up our Easy-Ups, roll in the coolers, and set up the chairs. It's the Long Beach Fire Department Pipe Band and we're set up on the middle ground level between the High Level where the pipe band competition is, and where the food court and main music stage is. We're near the Nicholson Pipe Band camp.
See you all in a couple hours!

PS as you all probably know we look like this (Prince Charles Edward Stuart tartan, the tartan of the old 72nd Highlanders). We decided to forgo waistcoats this weekend, due to the warm weather.
