They're also available in their brick & mortar stores where these costs can be avoided ;)

Good find! No, not too large at all. My blanket pins (which are the only kilt pins I wear) are 3.5 and 4 inches. Yours is perfect. Make sure to pin it downwards so that if it comes undone, it won't fall out.

Not too large.

In fact, I found dozens of them being sold in a market stall in Central, Hong Kong.
I had been looking for (and found) some lovely material for making flashes and kilt rosettes....yards and yards of it for very little cost.

Everyone at church was very positive about the kilt.

You look fantastic. That's a really nice (and roomy-looking) sporran, and I love, Love, LOVE the banker's collar shirt--you're a man after my own heart!

Thank you for the compliments. My father was partial to the banker collar shirts and so I guess it rubbed off on me.

As to the "sporran". It is actually a Coach handbag. It was given to me by my sister in law. She had it and I mentioned that it would make a nice sporran. So she dumped the contents in a plastic bag and gave it to me. She said it would give her an excuse to get a new one.

Considering its origin I can't complain when someone calls it a purse.

It is very roomy for what I carry in it.
