I've been kilted at WDW many times without ever a trouble. Get some passing glances, some nice comments, and asked to take a photo or two each trip. I've not had trouble on any of the rides I've been on either, and rather enjoyed doing Mission Space (orange) at EPCOT kilted. As I don't own any PV kilts I've always worn my woollies, either 16oz, or 18oz with kilt hose, hand tied garters a button-down shirt, and a comfortable pair of walking shoes.
