Shannon Brewery Opening - Keller, TX

The Star Telegram reports that Shannon Brewery will have "soft" opening in mid-July. That means next week to me. A soft opening is usually a "shake down cruise" for company employees, their families, media and dignitaries. I'm none of those. The grand opening should follow closely (late July?). Shannon makes Irish style ales. They will have a tasting room and a beer garden. Anyone interested? If so, I'll let you know as I hear more. Let's do this!

Me too. I'm going into Jonesing mode. A couple of weeks ago, the owner told me they were going to have a series of soft openings. I hinted that we'd be happy to help him fine tune things, but he didn't bite.

OK folks, here's the latest. Shannon Brewery will have soft openings to the public on Friday and Saturday, August 29th and 30th. They will have their grand opening on Saturday, September 20th. No times yet for any of these dates. So, now that we have some dates to work with, which one(s) works best for us?

Best date for the soft opening or after the grand opening? If for the soft opening, Saturday, 8/30 would work best for me.
