BBC Radio 3 13th July

There is a series starting tomorrow evening 22.45 on the UK BBC radio 3 called The Essay - Homage to Caledonia, Scots abroad - the first of five programs by Al Kennedy. This one is tartan, the kilt and a sense of Scottish identity.

I don't know if it will be any good - but it might be worth a listen if you can hear it live or get a download of it somehow.

Listened to it. An interesting, slightly arty persepctive as one might expect. Not too bad but repeated a couple of the standard errors surrounding the Act of Proscription. Don't think I'll bother with the other 4 essays.
