    A Frisian in a AmeriKilt

I had to wait severalt month to get my AmeriKilt. The order fall into oblivion at AmeriKilt. But in the end, AmeriKilt granted a generously rebate and a T-Shirt for free. That let me believe they are realy sorry obout it.

Now that the AmeriKilt is there I took a photo of me sporting it indoors (Outdoors it was raining cats and dogs). If somebody did ask himself how a Frisian in a kilt looks like, have a look at my personal gallery. 8)

Thank you for showing us your face at last, Wolfgang!! You also look really good in your Amerikilt, Well done.

I have two Amerikilts, which are extremely comfortable, but I find the fabric is a bit too lightweight for me - I prefer the canvas Utilikilts for myself. However, Amerikilts produce a good design, they are well made and The Butlers are charming people to do business with.

Let's see more photos of you, in different locations, as soon as it stops raining!!

Wolfgang, you'll love the AmeriKilt. As time goes by, it just gets softer and softer. I own a black one, and my wife has a tan one. Not only are they comfortable, but they're VERY versatile!

I'm glad that Mike Butler was able to help you out. He's a good guy that would NEVER let an "oops" go without an apology. Eventhough he's been VERY busy with festivals and shows, I know that he's a consciencious and honest businessman.

Enjoy that baby! They're quite a conversation piece.

Do you guys already get hitched Jimmy? When was the big day? or are you just trying to get used to the terminalogy?

It's not that cold, but wet. Frisians recommend a yellow rubberized rain jacket called Friesennerz (Frisian mink) when it is raining. Only it would look rather odd combinated with a kilt. If it is realy cold, a AmeriKilt does not keep as warm as a traditional kilt.

Now doubt, I will buy at AmeriKilt again and I am curious about the new hiking kilt. The next months I will save money to buy a 8-yard kilt (it will keep warm enough for the winters in lower saxony).

VERY soon now. I have to act before her eye sight becomes good, and her senses are restored from my Guinness and Jameson trickery.

I must admit it too... her AmeriKilt looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than mine!
