Just to let you know what we did in London ... well .. not a lot really. We met on the steps of the National Gallery and then took off to Covent Gardens where Ham knew a nice little pub (which sold real ale as it happened)where we had a few beers and a fab meal. We did'nt meet until midday by the way ... Elaine and myself had to use the National Express Bus to get to London .. all the cheap train tickets had gone for that day. We all chatted so much at the pub we forgot about the time but eventually made our way back into Covent gardens. Guess its about 3pm by now. We took some pictures there, then hiked back to Trafalgar Square stopping on route at a Dixons shop where we bought some ink for our printer and Ham bought a very lightweight tripod for his camera. Then we took several more pictures at Trafalgar Square. Time now must be around 4pm and unfortunately our bus for the return was at 5pm. So Han suggested we amble down Whitehall which we did to the underground at Embankment. We all caught a tube to Victoria where Ham went to the Victoria train station and we went to Victoria coach station. It only takes 1hr 50m on the train for us but 3 and half hours on the coach .. thats why we were leaving early. We could have stayed in London until 8 or 9pm with the train. Anyhow were taking the train next month as we have all planned to meet up again. Can't wait. No doubt there will be more pictures. Derek
