I hope this is the correct page to announce a new Group. This group is for those who wear a kilt/cilt who have Welsh, rather than Scottish heritage, whether born in Wales or with Welsh ancestry.

Am I allowed? Half Scots and Half English but have lived in Wales since 1988?

I wear a cilt with the Edwards tartan and based on what I have found with regard to my genealogy believe my ancestry to be Welsh as opposed to English. Is that good enough?

Of course it is. I was born in the wrong country myself. My ancestry comes through my mothers family history which includes an illegitimate link to the Earl of Pembroke.
