Over Heard a Funny coment LOL
I was at a car boot this last Sunday with son . and as we walked around I had a few people come over as is normal asking what clan the kilt is etc . However while we were walking about I over hear a lady with her husband I asoom saying " Now Look at him, That's a real man, in a kilt !!. Why can't you be more like that "
I didn't turn around or hear any response . I just turned to my son and said . You see Kilts are cool mate . A lady at another stand turned to her husband and said aren't you after one of them and he replied yes I am then commented "very nice nice" mate to me.

Norbo, I had something similar happen at work a few weeks ago......
It was on a Sunday, past midday and a well dressed middle aged man and his wife had come in to shop. After helping the couple, the man was standing on the other side of his wife, standing closest to me. She paused for a moment, looked me up and down ( I was wearing a simple kilt, long sleeved dress shirt and boots with kilt hose ) and without any indication, hit her husband with the back of her hand across his chest and said, "..... see, why don't you wear something like that!". Needless to say, the husband was taken completely off guard, and stood there in his suit while turning red in the face.

Me too! Last week at the grocery store, a 40-something mom and her teenage son, me wearing Multicam. She points out my kilt to the kid and asks him if he'd ever wear anything like that. The kid responded with a very definite "no way, never!", to which mom replied "that's what manly men wear, and women love a man in a kilt." Mom then made a point to tell *me* how much she liked men in kilts, her kid geeked out on my Weeping Angel t shirt, and they went on their way. It's nice to be appreciated.
