Three Scottish units face elimination

That article in The Scotsman was published over two years ago.

The Argylls are at company strength and I believe their Pipes & Drums may have been disbanded (?)

The RHR Black Watch continue to exist at battalion strength as to the 1st Bn. Scots Guards. In fact the latter even has an extra company for ceremonial duties.

The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are no longer a heavy cavalry unit (main battle tanks) but are to become a light cavalry unit (if not already).
