    Sudbury Hall, nr. Ashbourne, Derbyshire

Last Sunday my wife and I visited Sudbury Hall, Click image for larger version.

It has a Museum of Childhood, which although it does have items from the 1800's, also contained many items from our childhood which ages one somewhat!

A tip for anyone considering joining the National Trust in the UK, join the National Trust for Scotland. For us it cost less than ½ the cost of doing it in England, but gives us access to all English National Trust properties and car parks as well as Scottish ones free.

Exquisite art and artifacts. Beautiful pictures. I would love to spend time there someday. I have only seen it before in my favorite movie rendition of "Pride and Prejudice". Thanks for posting the pics.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
