I should have been more clear. The young ladies in question are opposed to hairy guy legs in shorts as well. They are misguided, but consistent.
Now that I own 4 kilts I am contemplating "Kilt Week" for the first week that school is back in session. Might as well break in the new Teen Center members with some shock therapy. Luckily my boss went to grad school in Scotland and she thinks the kilt wearing is great.

Here is a picture from last weeks Kilted Friday with the inaugural wearing my Celtic Croft Blackwatch Ancient Phillabeg.
Found out from one of the teens yesterday that he and group of friends have been doing "No Pants Fridays" - all the girls wear skirts and dresses and the boys wear kilts. Got to love the kids in this town!

Yesterday, Friday, I'm kilted in my USA Kilt casual in XMTS tartan at the gated community of active adults I manage. One of the ladies there comes to see me with a form she needed to turn in. With a big smile she says, "this form has been filled out all week, but I waited till today, so I could see what kilt you would be wearing!"
Gotta love Kilted Fridays!

If you don't mind my asking, how much did the USA XMTS kilt run you?

I work for a property management company. Yesterday we received a call from a tenant that water was leaking from her ceiling, presumably from the apartment above. I went over to investigate ahead of the plumber and shut off the water. The lady said "It's not every day a man in a kilt comes to the rescue!" We had a chuckle about it and things like that can make a bad situation a bit more tolerable.
I love Kilted Fridays.

Sorry, no I don't recall the price of it. As I remember in early 2012 a special order by Steve Ashton of XMTS PV tartan that he and Rocky offered special deals to have kilts made with it. I do believe Steve keeps PV and wool XMTS tartan in his shop.

Yes, Steve said he had some in stock, I guess I was just curious what kind of deal you got. Thanks much for the reply.
