Sad news: Robin Williams, 63, has passed
After 11 attempts to register here under different names, we now have enough evidence to confirm that this is again Steven Aikens of Jasper AL. This time using an IP proxy in an attempt to hide his real location.

Robin McLaurin Williams was a frequent patron, along with his friend and fellow comedian/actor Billy Connolly, at the Lonach Gathering and Highland Games in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Robin was also an avid runner and would often participate in the running events at the games. I remember seeing them both from afar when I attended the Lonach Gathering several years ago. Very sad news indeed. Depression is such a serious issue. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Such a shame that a man who brought so much laughter and happiness to millions should find it a struggle to maintain happiness within himself. Depression truly is a terrible thing.
Rest in peace, Mork.
