Finally getting around to saying Hi

I signed up here on the forum a bit ago but don't think I ever even posted a "hi, I'm new" post. I won't even claim that I lurked... I did some reading, but mostly I got busy and didn't get back here.

So "hi, I'm new."

I've recently been learning to play the bagpipes and one thing lead to another and suddenly I'm shopping for a kilt. Mostly cuz it's way cheaper than the pipes I aspire to play one day.

Long and short, I'm in Boise Idaho and recently bought my first kilt from Amerikilt. It's far from formal but it's comfy. Unfortunately the girlfriend isn't really a fan of either the pipes or the kilt but I like to refer to those as "her problem." As of yet I haven't worn the kilt out in public but that's mainly a lack of laces for the boots which I've recently fixed. It took a while since I just plain forgot I needed new laces.

Anyway, now I've said "hi" and I'm sure I'll have questions going forward. Till then I'm gonna keep dorking around with the pipes and with the kilts. ;)
