This is a test of the mention feature

This feature is used on another forum and not only did you get an email on an @ mention but also when somebody quotes that @ mention. This lead me to shut off email because of shenanigans. People would mention a few members, then others would quote that post, then quote the quote... In short order several hundred emails would plug up your inbox.

Is that how this works here?

I see how to shut off emails from admins or emails from other members but this seems to be neither one or the other. To stop these annoying emails do we really have to stop all emails?

I am really glad that this is now a feature, it gives me a warm feeling when I see that I was either tagged or quoted.
