I watched the first episode as part of my on demand package. It was excellent.

Dame Annie has read and reread them all. She was pleased with the first episode.
At Clava Cairns, we were told by our guide (who was also Diana Gabaldon's guide) that the standing stones there were what she visualized for her books.
All I know is my lass went through the stones three times - and didn't go anywhere! Whew, I was worried. (She also crossed the brig' and started up the path at the 'Brig o doon', but I got her called back.)

I read the first 7 books some years back and have been looking forward to a visualization of the stories, but now I have no television and will have to wait till it is out on Netflix.

I didn't read the books, but Andrea and I watched Episode 1. I don't like the way the bonnets are worn, but so far, it seems like a good story.

Just adding my 2 cents. I've read all but the last book of the series. So far so good! I'm really interested to see how the handle the McKenzie Gathering which should be in the next couple of episodes and then get feedback on here from our more historically-minded folks.

Och! The wee lass & meself have read the bunch. A bit romancy for meself, but at times, sacrifice is required. At such times, good smokey scotch whiskey is a great assist!

I don't think there's any way I can see this series here in Scotland, but I did notice that Mr. Heughan has on occasion adopted the kilt & biker jacket combo. I used to wear something similar in my younger days. I'm surprised I don't see it more often on here, biker's jackets are the ideal cut to work with a kilt.

I used to rock that look as well from time to time. Given my stance on wearing Highland Dress, shocking I know.
