I was asking which of the 3 dates works best. Any of them work fine for me. If it turns out to be a good brewery, it'd be great to meet up quarterly or so and elevate the stylishness of the establishment! Of course I recognize that Keller is off the beaten path for anyone on the east side of the Metroplex.

I'm kind of thinking it might be better to attend the soft opening rather than the grand opening. If the grand opening is similar to other brewery openings I attended in the past, it will be really crowded.

You're probably right.

8/29 is a no go for me - my band is playing in McKinney that night.
8/30 isn't a sure thing yet either, but it is the better option. I'll keep working on it. Looking forward to it!

Ok, of the few folks that I've heard from, the majority are for Saturday, August 30th, so I guess that's the date for meeting up at Shannon's. Who all can make it?

I'm in. My homebrew club, the Cap and Hare Homebrew Club, might be joining us on Saturday. They haven't finalized the date but its leaning towards Saturday, 8/30.

I asked my wife if she would be up to a kilt night in DFW on the 30th. My son overheard, and asked "your going out of town on my birthday?" Needless to say, I'm not going to be able to make this time.
By the way, he is 14 and his brother just left for college. I think he is looking forward to doing something with "just him." I'm always telling him family is important, now it is my turn to put own up to my words.

If we do the tour at Shannon, my home brew club asked that we also drop by the Rabbit Hole Brewery (Justin TX) between noon and 4:00. We are doing the Home Brew 4 Heroes event that helps raise funds for returning veterans.

I'll be in Fredericksburg on the 30th. But keep me in the info loop - I'm in Haltom City about 6 miles away.

I stopped by the brewery today. They were very excited to hear that we were coming. They are open pretty much all day that Saturday until 8pm so that should work great for your guys Chewse. I can't make it until 5pm. I hope to see Chewse, Minushd, and others on the 30th! Btw, they let me taste some IPA and Irish Red. Both were great!
