A rather nice sequined bustenhalter with jingly bits dangling from it. I was wondering, if I should wear it with a kilt, should it match the color of my hose, or perhaps the color of the flashes, or maybe it should pickup a color from the tartan, but would it go well with tweed? As we all know, but don't openly acknowledge, THCD is an invented dress, and I think it ought be reinvented from time-to-time. Perhaps it's time for brassieres to replace waistcoats, although Dixiecat and Sydnie7 weren't very encouraging.

@Benning Boy, thanks for pointing out the pins in my mouth. They look like some sort of odd piercings ... hmmmm???

And all I gotta say is, as a preacher, if I ain't talking, I ain't doing my job!

That could rank right up there with Steve's tartan leggings in the OMG, eye-popping category! I DO hope you invested in this item....

And, who knew that "bustenhalter" was actually a word?!! ;-)

It's a german word and we write it Büstenhalter. I guess that by now all Xmarkers know the english translation.

Here are photos of my Kilt Kamp project. I made a contemporary box pleat out of ACU camo.

    It has pockets!

Hey, Okiwen, thought I'd wear it with a hand-knit shawl.

Had a chance to visit the Butchart Gardens.

Made a friend at the Butterfly Garden.

On the way back to Minnesota my husband and I stopped in Missoula to visit our son and his wife. My son and I hiked Mt. Sentinel to the "M." Here I am taking in the view.

Enjoyed a beer sampler at the Tamarack Brewery.

Hey, Truitt, this is a geocache we scored at the Missoula library. Don and I added a pin from Scotland and a sticker from Minnesota.

When we got home, my new observatory arrived--well, the kit arrived. It took us four days to put it together.

Now I can make kilts all day and star gaze all night.
Everyone, if you haven't already done so, be sure to post photos of your finished kilts. And future kilts, as well!
