Kilt on! Let no man tell you otherwise, you wear what you want, and where you want! There is great honor and pride in the kilt, and when you put it on you also wear that pride and honor like a badge. I know when I'm kilted I stand a bit taller, walk a bit more confidently, and hold my head higher.
So go ahead and strut around Paris kilted..... Eiffel Tower? Meh, look at that gentleman in the kilt!

You will be absolutely fine .. I have worn cilts/kilts around Paris many times .. just enjoy Paris and forget you are wearing a Kilt ...

Yes, that's my experience too. I'm in Paris quite a lot: Parisians love a snappy dresser, and interesting clothes, so that adds to it. Also it marks you as "not-English" (sorry)

daithi815, .... think u look great ! I like seeing men in kilts.. with any luck you and the so many nice gentleman on this cool site may start an old tradition up again all over... or a new trend .. that goes for the ladies too :-)

I've gotten an "Ooh la la" from some sweet young French girls, so I'd take that as a positive sign that the French like kilts.

Paris Pics - well sort of
Wore my kilt at Disneyland Paris today. It seemed to go down quite well ! Might wear it whilst sightseeing tomorrow.
(Apologies for the poor pics, but the camera on my phone isn't that good)
