    Highlandhouse of Fraser Kilt Visitor Center Inverness

    Hi Guys,

    staying in Inverness for some days during my recent trip to Scotland I had - of course - to see the Kilt Visitor Center of Highland House of Fraser.
    They have an interesting exibition about the history of kilts and kiltmaking.
    An informative film about kiltmaking is also shown (with a very funny pre-film showing kilts in commercials and musicvideos of the 60th, 70th and 80th). And you can watch the kiltmakers at work.
    Here are some pictures...some a bit blurry because of the dim light in the museum. I hope you enjoy it anyway.(Click on image to enlarge)

    Not been there for several years so obviously worth going back again to enjoy the museum.

    It has been a while for me too, Trefor. Thanks for sharing, Tom! Also, were you able to make it to the Clan Macpherson Museum and House a wee bit further south from Inverness in Newtonmore, by chance?

    Have a look at "The Clans" threads Kyle. Tom has posted some pictures there.
