I got the Celtic Nations in the Casual kilt from Rocky and I love it. While I doubt I would ever wear it for evening wear, it is great for what it is made for. Some friends warned me against the PV material saying that it wrinkles too easily, but I have not found that to be too much of an issue. It is pleated to the stripe which looks really good. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance. Cheers.

It's a dog walking, slop around kilt I'm after. I currently use a £38 Roving Celt kilt from Clanncelt but it looks pretty awful and although quite light it is 8 yards, so I'm thinking 5 yards of similar material but better fitting would be perfect. My Prince of Wales casual I use for shopping and going for a drink, the Powell of Wales casual for more special occasions. I have an 8 yard acrylic (I think) Spirit of Wales which is another Clanncelt but much better than the other effort. I'd like to see some pics. especially would like to see what it's like pleated to the stripe.

It's not listed now, but I do have a semi-traditional kilt (P/V) from USA Kilts made in the St. David tartan. Perhaps this option will be available again later, when you're ready for yet another kilt.

They sometimes pop upon ebay, not too keen, perhaps it's because there is a St. in the name.

I've taken members advice and gone for one of your casuals in Celtic Nations instead of a sports kilt. Postage was about the same and although yours is a bit more expensive and won't have the straps, it should be fine for walking the dogs and home use next summer. My waist size varies from 40 down to 38, I guess the hip size will vary a bit too. Is there much adjustment? I sized it for the bigger size assuming its easier to go down a couple of inches instead of up, though 38 is my goal size. Also followino Chaps comment, I've gone for pleating to stripe. I only hope I don't have to pay a small fortune when it goes through Spanish customs but at least I've got time to save up for it.

I've just received one of the Glyndwr Casuals from USA Kilts ( off the rack)and I have got to say it's really, really nice. I'm planning on it making the trip at the end of the week to Florida. (Photo's will follow at some point).Yes, it does seem a tad dark, and seems to be a dog hair magnet, lol but very well built and versatile. I had Lucas set it up with the wide belt loops and with the smaller ones directly beneath so I could run a traditional Kilt belt, as well as a 1 1/2 inch belt. Should be easy to dress up and still be more than capable of going casual. The Celtic Nations is another fine tartan. Should be really sharp set to the stripe. I'm sure you'll be very happy with your choice, great people there at USAK.

I'll look forward to seeing some photos of it after your trip. My own plaid looked much better in real life. Internet pictures don't do it justice. Its good to hear you're pleased with the USA kilt. It'll be some time before I get mine. I don't see why you had 2 sets of belt loops. Surely you could have used the normal belt loops for a narrow belt? This fastens with velcro doesn't it? How does it look without straps? I suppose it doesn't show once you have a belt and sporran in place. Have a good holiday in Florida.
