Huh? Is this an inside joke of some kind? I have noticed this statement in other threads on posts by Galloglaigh. What am I missing, Steve? I don't get it.

The person calling himself Galloglaugh is actually a man named Steven Akens. He continues to attempt to register to X Marks even though he has had his registration revoked. A quick google search will tell you why.

Time and time again he tries to come here and time and time again we revoke his membership.

I'm sorry it took so long to confirm that this Galloglaugh was Steven. He was using an IP proxy to hid behind.

So this is actually the 18th time he has tried to register.

It's usually easy to spot him. He comes on and presents himself as an expert on Highland Dress. Many have been taken in as seen in this thread.

He is getting craftier though. This time his IP addres was showing up as coming from all over the world.

Ah, thanks. So he must have posted images that were then deleted upon his discovery, but people had already posted comments on them and their comments remained?

I read of his "of that ilk", as advised. I was right in the first place, he is a joke.

Why not simply delete the entire thread and any other comments he may make in other threads under this new Galloglaigh identity? Doing so, would avoid confusion amongst those of us who were heretofore unaware of his endeavours as a charlatan.

Seems a shame to give him any oxygen.

Seems a shame to delete an entire thread when so many others had posted to them.

I would have had to delete 11 currently active threads.

But I do caution our traditionalists to be a little more careful in accepting the word of just anyone.

I understand why this guy had to go, I've read his racist rants and false ilk claims. I applaud Steve for staying vigilant and keeping him out of our community.

That said, did anyone save those images from the OP? They are great! Too bad they had to go with him.

Nathan, if you punch Steve Atkin of that Ilk into google, among the results, you should find a link to his pinterest page which has all the photos you desire and some more of the catelogues that he didn't post here. Cheers
