    BThom,

I really do not know how many pints I could hold. Interested in you and I going to a good watering hole and finding out? LOL

Though not exactly my same measurements, this is exactly my biggest concern. I keep putting off getting a kilt because of how my weight fluctuates and also I'm worried about the "huge curtain" effect. A good kilt would be a big investment for me and I would hate to waste it

    Moses,

I understand that a good kilt is expensive to most people. It was the reason that I took nearly 36 years to get one. And I did loose some weight which translated to almost 2 inches around my "natural waist." But with the shirt and a belt, it fits fine.

Hope you do not take 36 years to get a kilt.

    Enjoy!

Wait no longer!!! He who waits is....well... he's just waiting. And for what? A quality garment will last a lifetime, as is often written in these forums. Best get one early enough to see if it can indeed be worn out

My kits often start at the kilt waste as you say but during walking about end up down at hips so I have to ajust it back up again from time to time .
