On watching that youtube clip again however, I note that Alasdair Gillies makes mention of 'that first ceilihd at Leethland'.....and appears to relate to their singing together earlier in the clip (?).
Leethland House was Calum's home....however if that was where the recording took place, I can't find any other clips which make mention of a recording therein.
However sometime in the past I still seem to recall someone mentioning it as a strathspey/scottische called Lochnagar (as opposed to the better known Dark Lochnagar). However, I could well be wrong!
Yeah, my research led me to a couple of dead ends as well. It almost seems like this tune doesn't exist. Anyways, thanks for your time and help.
