Name That Tune!

I came across this video and really enjoy the tune at the end (Not the opening one... The Dark Island). Judging by the interview with Alasdair Gillies, the clip seems to be from a documentary on Calum Kennedy. Can anyone tell me the name of the documentary or even better, the tune?

I don't have one....the name/tune just seems to ring a bell. There was a strathspey/scottische version of Lochnagar and I seem to recall it being very similar.

I'm just off to work, will have a dig around when I get home this evening.

Sorry, you've got me stumped. Can't find anything. Searched through various tune lists with a negative result.

On watching that youtube clip again however, I note that Alasdair Gillies makes mention of 'that first ceilihd at Leethland'.....and appears to relate to their singing together earlier in the clip (?).

Leethland House was Calum's home....however if that was where the recording took place, I can't find any other clips which make mention of a recording therein.

However sometime in the past I still seem to recall someone mentioning it as a strathspey/scottische called Lochnagar (as opposed to the better known Dark Lochnagar). However, I could well be wrong!

Its a port a beul literally "mouth music" used for dancing if no instruments are available. There are hundreds of such songs and Calum seemed to know all of them but, since the words are just nonsense, they can even be 'composed' on the spur of the moment. The most well-known one, Brochan Lom - used, for example, in "Whiskey Galore" - is about porridge! Here are the words

My sincerest thanks. I figured it was puirt a beul as I have stumbled upon it before. It's great toe tapping music and always seems to cheer me up. Thanks for the link to the other video of Calum, I may have found a new favorite.
