A bit of publicity for Stump Town kilts, not sure in this instance if it's good or bad. I think there is a saying that any publicity is good?

Having a bit of experience in "Loss Prevention" I know that women have long used skirts and dresses to cover shoplifted goods...there have been some amazing stories over the years of microwave ovens and other large goods found hidden under skirts. Since our kilts are a type of skirt it makes good sense for Loss Prevention staff to be alert if a man in a kilt is acting suspiciously in their store... Methinks the crook was just taking his lead from all the skirted lady shoplifters plying their trade...

One of my dad's favorite stories about his work in the grocery business was a woman in a skirt shop lifting. She was a large lady and was witnessed putting two 5lb canned hams between her thighs. When he confronted her said she was walking different because she had terrible arthritis and went on and on about how he was just picking on a poor crippled lady.... but as she was telling her tale one of the hams dislodged itself and landed on her foot, she jumped and the other ham hit the floor. Colorful language then spouted from both the woman and the interviewer (my dad).
