I say you look very well put together, I have to admit I am fond of how your hose look.

Isaac - looking good and good luck with school this year.
I've got big shoes to fill ... so I wear big socks!

Very stylish. Just curious, but did any lass want a selfie with you?

A few. The only one I allowed was the Armenian exchange student.

Isaac - you look fantastic.
It's nice to see diced hose for other than formal wear, but those are a bit too light, to my mind.
But, basically, wow. A teacher to respect and admire.

Given the hectic pace of a typical high-school teacher, I would suspect that a leather purse, one that would withstand brushing against desks, furniture, blackboards, etc. would likely be the practical choice over fur. For daily wear, I tend to reach either for my carry-all sporran from Freedom kilts, or a plain leather purse I picked up from L&M Highland Outfitters.
And I love the shoes which, for a teacher, must be practical enough to withstand a long day and yet be up to par for a very smart outfit. Congratulations.

Please, sir, please, I have a question. Did your pupils seem more attentive when you wore the kilt or not?

I am lucky to have very attentive students regardless of what I wear, and those that have had me in past years know that I occasionally wear a kilt. This said, wearing my kilt did generate a lot of interest in the "current events" and led to discussion of what was happening in the world yesterday. I teach (among other things) World Studies, Economics, and U.S. Government. Part of my plan with the kilt wearing (besides getting to wear my kilt) was to spark interest and discussion on yesterday's vote... economics, politics, impacts on the world, similarities to other events in history, etc. It seemed to all go very well. In fact, my colleagues even gained a lot of interests, and it sparked conversation regarding events in the world.

If I was a kid in your class, you'd be my hero. And I'd learn to think about things with your teaching me!
