Welcome from central Indiana. I have cousins who are Clarks. Did not realize until now that they had their own tartan. Cool!!!

Welcome from Virginia. Re: you mention of the Presbyterian ministers in your family. My first occasion to wear my kilt was 15 years ago as the MC to a friend's wedding in a public garden gazebo at a large park in Richmond. Another friend who is a lawyer got sworn in as a JP for the day to perform the ceremony and he was in his law school robes. I was in my USMC kilt and black Argyle jacket. The best man was a Col. in the Army in his mess dress, and the groom and two groomsmen were in regular old tuxedos. While milling about in the gazebo before the ceremony, a group of Richmond preppies strolled by and one commented, "God save the Presbyterians." Not sure exactly what he meant, but we all got a chuckle out of it.
Welcome to the Rabble!
