Over the weekend my nephew got married. Uncle John was the only kilted one at the wedding. We had a great time! For the wedding ceremony in the afternoon, I opted for a tweed jacket and no waistcoat (a warm sunny day) but changed up for the evening to a black Argyle (Crail cuffs), silver buttons with a five button waistcoat. Given the overall level of formality, I could have gotten away with a tweed jacket and waistcoat. At the reception, the by far better half and I:

Both photos are upside down when I view them......but even then, you look sharp John and your better half..... I couldn't help myself, I had to turn them around so I could see how they looked without you standing on your heads...... Hawk

You both look great. Congratulations to all.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
Congratulations! You both look very well dressed.
