Not sure what classifies as a unique local spot, but today my daughter and I were attempting to get rid of a load of surplus toys in a local field at a car boot sale.

It was certainly local and unique to us amongst Xmarks, but there was little in the way of local accents or even language. Only 2 comments kilt related: one gentleman asked about the referendum and another said it was nice to see a national dress worn. Just goes to show, for those who worry about wearing a kilt out and about, as we must have had several hundred people past our stall. There were a number of other national dresses as well, just not UK based.
If this counts, the next challenge can be kilted in a church yard.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Here we go, taken this very morning. The RC Church yard at Roy Bridge of Cille Choirill.

I am not sure that anyone actually knows exactly where Iain Lom MacDonald, a Gaelic Bard, is buried in the church yard, but here is me by the stone placed in his honour.

We had some French friends staying and they wanted to see it. In my opinion, the best views in Scotland can be seen from there(weather permitting), without having to climb a mountain!
I think I win? Next mission: KILTED BY LARGE FARM MACHINERY.

Good show Jock. Without exerting your visitors to boot. Worthy of placement or honorable mention if not the win.

Hope the tractor is considered "large" farm machinery.... out and about in my U.S. Army tartan USA semi-trad. Local guy collects tractors and has tractor pulls here once a year...drives a bunch of them in the local parades too.
For those following the "khaki" Lewis hose through STM adventure those are them in the photo. A far cry from what their website showed...but they're mine now - seem to go well with some of the color in the U.S. Army tartan.
Next challenge: Kilted in an Ice Cream store or in front of an Ice Cream store.

I might add to Riverkilt's photo that the John Deere pictured is considered the most deadly tractor ever made. So extra "kudos" should be added because of the risk factor.

I guess that is because of a propensity for rolling over. No idea what benefit having front wheels like that has, but I guess there must be one. Had not thought of the photo challenge when I took this slightly more conventional tractor, even though kilted at the time.

After a long day of spreading cheer and some toys and candy I set out to find an Ice Cream store. The one I found on Google was long closed but I passed this one along the way. At 6 pm on a cool fall evening their was no one inside except a young lady behind the counter. A selfie would not capture my kilt so I had to wait until another customer arrived to take my picture. Wearing one of my favorites Black Stewart USA Casual.

I have enjoyed how this challenge has picked back up in the past few days so I want to keep it simple and fun. Next Challange
Kilted anywhere in a public place
