What Price Glory
Anyone have a kilt from What Price Glory? How about an evaluation?

i got also one of those military kilts from seaforth highlanders (mckenzie tartan)
i didn t purchased it from price glory, but i suggest the took the model from a normal military.
so these military kilts are so great...
the have a special pleating system, where white stripes from mckenzie tartan are pleated out themselves and just then the pleat continues as on any kilt.
then those small front-strip pleats are sewed together in a loose way with an elastic band near the bottom of th ekilt.
the material is heavy and looks strong. and, what i loved at most: the under apron is self-falling down when legs are spread.
how had i lived without one of these kilts before, and i m so sorry that this kilt is not available in a summer version.
have to tell british defence ministrey ;)

I think my WPG kilt is my best fitting. It hangs straight down.
It's heavy.
It's not worsted (at least, not as I understand "worsted"). It has a felt-like quality.
It's warm.
The buckles are somewhat small and a bit difficult so I just leave it buckled and slip it on or off.
I bought it maybe two years ago....things may have changed.
I think they are worth the price.

yeah true, i forgot the only inconvenient on this kilt: the buckles are small with two thorns (is this the word?) quite pointed nearby being dangerous. needs twiddling.
