I've seen this thread, but not commented. I drove through New Scotland yesterday, but the one in New York State. I drive through it often.

I love Nova Scotia and still have family in Halifax. Cape Breton is one of our favorite places to vacation. Maybe next year...

The blood of the Gael does run stong in Cape Breton. I got to practice my Gaelic as there are still speakers around.

How fortunate for all who live there. It ceased being heard in South Georgia in my parents' youth; neither had a chance to
learn it. I never knew until recently that it was once quite common in the area past the initial settlers in the 1730s.

And congrats on the new post! Our enjoyment of the games and clan activities is only possible because SOME people
step up and do the work. Thank you.
