Cartoon inspiration

[Tarheel]

This was a political cartoon ( I edited to explain the rest of the story.) I called the college newspaper editor and asked to speak to the artist. The artist said he wanted to make a statement on the elections overseas. However, he had gotten so many comments on my wearing a kilt at the first home football game of the season, he combined the two events into one sketch. This is his explaining that choice of apparel is an individual right. Seemed fitting to me. I leave it to the moderators to decide.

Another post from the same college newspaper, same illustrator but different inspiration, this time, reruns of "Brave Heart" on our local "Ole Miss" cable channel. The kilt still prevails!
